How to Make Money on Facebook

Facebook has a number of monetization options for influencers and content creators. These include branded content partnerships and the Brand Collabs Manager tool.

Another popular side hustle is buying low and selling high on the platform’s Marketplace or in local Facebook buy/sell groups. One example is raw land that’s sold on a payment plan.

1. Become an Influencer

Facebook influencers can make a lot of money by working with brands. They can also earn by participating in events, creating and promoting content, and more.

If you want to become a social media influencer, focus on creating engaging content that adds value to your audience. Also, be sure to engage with your followers by responding to comments and tagging them. Becoming a trusted, confident authority online will go a long way towards earning your audience’s support and sponsorships.

If you work with an agency, they will take care of the relationship management for you, as well as the campaign logistics. They may even have systems in place to help you easily find and contact influencers who fit your campaign’s customer persona. They will also likely be able to provide you with detailed influencer statistics as the campaign progresses.

2. Promote Your Own Products or Services

Facebook is a social media and communication software juggernaut that billions of people use daily. It also provides a platform for businesses to connect with their customers.

Creating and promoting your own products and services on Facebook is an easy and inexpensive way to generate sales. In fact, it’s one of the best ways to monetize your business.

In a recent episode of my podcast, I interviewed a guy who makes money by purchasing raw land at discount prices and then selling it on a payment plan to locals. He finds buyers through local groups on Facebook.

The more followers you have on your Facebook page, the more monetization opportunities will open up. However, it’s important to comply with Facebook’s monetization standards. This ensures that your audience has a positive experience with your page. It’s also important to post content that’s relevant to your target audience.

3. Promote Other People’s Products or Services

With over 2 billion monthly active users, Facebook has a huge potential audience to reach. This creates a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to make money online without the need for a large investment.

Posting videos is a great way to get your content noticed on Facebook. However, you need to be careful about what type of content you are posting and ensure that it complies with Facebook’s guidelines.

Another way to earn money on Facebook is by selling products or services through Facebook Marketplace or Google pay-per-click ads. You can also join Facebook’s “Bug Bounty” program if you are able to spot bugs or security issues on their website or app. This is a great side hustle that can be done from home.

4. Become an Affiliate

If you have a large following on Facebook, you can become an affiliate and earn money from product sales. However, you must be careful to only promote high-quality products and services that your audience will find useful. Also, avoid posting content that includes excessive profanity or sexually explicit images or text.

It’s also important to post regularly on your Facebook page or group, as this will help increase the chances of triggering the algorithm that decides which posts are shown in a person’s feed. Many affiliates find success by posting comparisons of products or services that people commonly search for.

Another way to make money on Facebook as an affiliate is by creating a group and pushing products in it. This method can be quite lucrative, as you can earn commission on the products that are sold in your group.

5. Become a Sponsor

Facebook sponsors ads and content on their platform, which can be a great way to reach a large audience. You can do this by creating sponsored posts, or by becoming a brand collaboration partner.

Sponsored posts are essentially normal organic posts that you pay to “boost.” This allows you to target your audience more specifically, such as by age, gender, location, and interests.

You can also become a sponsorship partner by sharing your content on a company’s page or group, or through in-stream ads (which appear when someone is watching a video). This can be a good way to make money on Facebook if you have a large following. You can find more information about becoming a sponsor on Facebook’s official sponsorship program page. Alternatively, you can hire a digital marketing agency to create and manage your Facebook ads for you.

6. Become a Sponsored Poster

Facebook has a few different ways that you can make money through its platform. One way is to become a sponsored post creator. This is a great option for people who have a lot of followers and can drive traffic to blogs or other websites that are being monetized with advertising.

Another option is to become a video content creator on Facebook. You can get paid based on how many views your videos receive. Facebook has a set of guidelines that you need to follow to qualify for this opportunity.

Finally, you can also make money by becoming a tester on Facebook’s website and apps. Facebook crowdsources some of its quality assurance and security testing through its Bug Bounty program. This is a great option for people with technical skills and a good eye for detail.

7. Become a Sponsored Videographer

Facebook is placing more emphasis on organic video content to push back against TikTok. You can monetize your videos by getting brands or businesses to sponsor them. This can be done through ads that appear during a live video or on-demand videos.

To be eligible to monetize your videos on Facebook, you must have at least 1,000 followers and follow Facebook’s Partner Monetization policies. You also need to have at least 600,000 minutes of watch time over the past 60 days.

You can monetize your videos by creating different ad formats that have specific goals in mind. For example, you can create video ads to drive awareness or retargeting ads to generate leads. You can also monetize your videos by running ads on the Facebook Marketplace. This allows you to sell your products or services to a large audience.

8. Become a Sponsored Live Streamer

If you have a large following on Facebook, you can make money by working with brands to promote their products or services in your live video streams. This is typically done through sponsored or affiliate partnerships.

Facebook also has a program called Stars that pays you when people watch your videos. Each Star is worth $0.01 USD when redeemed, so you can earn a bit of extra income from this program.

You can also get paid by allowing people to donate to your cause or charity through your Facebook page. Finally, if you have an eye for spotting bugs and glitches on the Facebook website or app, you can earn money through the company’s Bug Bounty program. This is a great way to help make sure that the site stays up and running smoothly. It’s not only a fun way to earn, but it can also be quite lucrative.

9. Become a Sponsored Instagrammer

Facebook has a few different ways that you can make money through the site. One way is to run ads on your Facebook page or Instagram account. Another way is to become an influencer or brand ambassador. You can also earn money by running a Facebook group or by using the Facebook marketplace to sell items.

Lastly, you can make money by becoming a sponsored Instagrammer. This involves creating content for a brand or product and getting paid to post it on your Instagram account.

To qualify for this role, you need to have at least 15,000 post engagements or 180,000 minutes of watch time in the past 60 days. You can apply to become a sponsored Instagrammer through the creator marketplace or by messaging brands directly through the Facebook Partner Messaging inbox.

10. Become a Sponsored YouTuber

Facebook has become a juggernaut that billions of people use every day, so it’s no wonder that people are looking for ways to make money on the platform. Facebook pages offer a variety of ways to monetize your content, including advertising, selling your own products, and providing services.

One way to earn money as a YouTuber is through sponsorships. These are typically product review sponsorships or brand partnerships. YouTubers that have a large audience following can often command high paid sponsorship rates.

There are a few websites that specialize in connecting smaller YouTube channels with brands looking for sponsorships. Grapevine, for example, has reportedly paid more than $4,989,911 to creators. Another option is Content BLVD, which connects YouTubers with brands who want to sponsor them by offering product packages instead of cash. This is especially beneficial for beauty and fashion vloggers.
